No one is going to buy a Toyota/Lexus V6 Turbo, of any kind, if they no better. Those trucks are going to be shunned, can't even sell them to Cramax or Carvana ever! makes a ton of sense the UK is doing it that way, they might have more people on trains than driving on average. Looks like they are doing what we in BC are struggling to do with federal demands and provincial funding problems. But the luxury car market doesn't buy in the same rate a fleet does. (we have both, but logging trucks is another story, but it's happening too) Some places like the types of small English towns are hyper NIMBY and the local governments have to come in slow and conservative like, so to hit the quotas they need for votes they are basically shouting at the TV camera "Were doing it live!" and buying the EVs them self's. I mean then there is English manufacturing and job protection like the USA is worried about when batteries from china come into play. TLDR: if the public isn't buying them for them selfs, the government can buy them for the public sector services and get the ball rolling.

I saw one of these in person at the shopping mall. It looks nice and I didn't think the EV badges were too much. But it was on the edge of being too much 😅 I am glad to see more car makers making the transition to EVs. I love the sounds they make when pulling into the parking lot. In the future when battery technology gets more advanced, we will be able to get cars that can go 500 miles on one full charge and recharge in 15 mins or less. It is only a matter of time.

I recently bought a 2024 Honda Hybrid Touring. I love it. I like the styling inside and out. The power train is smooth with enough power for me. Each his own. I don’t need an SUV . They are heavier, taller, less aerodynamic with less mpg. This is my third accord, all built ( I believe the drivetrain built in Japan ) in Maysville Ohio. Never an issue and the build quality is spot on. Many people say they like the looks which is subjective. I like the conservative looks which I think will age better than Kia and Hyundai in my opinion. Ok, bring on the hater’s!
